Convincing and Tipping Points

Getting anyone to do anything they aren’t already doing can be pretty difficult.  Trying to get them to do something they don’t want to do, just like trying to convince them to buy something they don’t think they need, is nearly impossible. So selling in this case is going to be hard. Really hard.

But sometimes the weight of a feather can be all the push someone needs to tip them over into making a decision. Because it’s the decision they wanted to make, they just need something or someone to help them feel more comfortable about it. So the difficult part of this sale isn’t closing the deal, it’s in the prospecting. In connecting, attracting and seeking the people who have already made the decision and are looking for someone to help them get what they want. Finding these people are hard. Hard but doable. And loads the hard part on the front end.

We all have a choice when it comes to sales, we get to determine where to put in the hard work. It is a choice and it is up to us to make.
